CH-QUAT Meeting 2015


The annual CH-QUAT Meeting and general assembly 2015 took place on March 28, 2015 between 08:30 - 16:00 at the Institute of Geological Sciences, University of Bern (Baltzerstrasse 3, 3012 Bern) and was organized by Prof. F. Anselmetti and Prof. O. Heiri.


Topic: "Into the deep: Quaternary lake sediments and palaeoenvironmental reconstruction"


The theme of the meeting was Quaternary lake sediment records and their use for the reconstruction of past environments, environmental impacts, and ecosystem responses. The program featured a series of invited presentations providing an overview over the topic and ongoing activities within Switzerland. In addition, students (BSc/MSc/PhD) and young scientists presented their ongoing research in the poster session.
