This year's CH-QUAT excursion will take place in the Valais focussing on Quaternary geology, natural hazards, and archaeology.
The excursion will include the following topics:

 Archaeology at Pfynwald
 Quaternary geology of the Lötschen Valley
 Blatten landslide: Monitoring, hydrology, etc.

This years meeting is dedicated to the theme “Humans in the Quaternary.” Humans have adapted to, influenced, and interpreted Quaternary environments across time and space.

Poster session: We organize a poster session open to any topic related to Quaternary Research. Please bring your poster in the format A0 portrait. Poster award for the best poster presentation by young researchers. Please provide the title and author line with registration.
